Hi, i've been looking at getting some slam panels for the engine bay, you know, the ones/s that cover the front of the bay over the lights are and the rad.

Now as i see it, i have 2 options, get it as a 3 piece option from DTA ie 2 light covers and a rad cover, or go for the zcentre option of a 1 piece item

so apart from the obvious difference in money, has anyone had either of these who can give me a review

thanks

Rich

Personally i prefer the 3 piece just because the 1 single piece looks a bit much in the engine bay, i have the 3 piece on mine and it looks pretty good

just my view though both are very good products

i bought the 3 piece set, purely because i think it will look better when all fitted instead of just the one single centre bit.

silverbullet made his own one piece slam panel so he did.

Should check that out.

I still have his cutout if intrested in it in making your own.

Vinz i still cant get over that engine bay like something out of alien ressurection, but in chrome.lol!

Silverbullets is a great effort but if you wanted to save some cash and make your own.

As i said he sent me the template so could pass it on and then you could then pass it on to another intrested party

Hi Vinz,

Did you base yours on smithys ones?

Rich

Pattern was off some silver weave ones I had.But they are all the same profile.
