Hi Guys and Girls

 

Just putting the engine back together and I have found a broken wire and cant fine where it goes, think it is the dett sensor. If it is should I just bypass it?

Can't quite make out which wire due to the picture being so dark. I fyou take another one with better light I am more than happy to look on my car and see if I can help.

i think its the knock sensor mate,

 

 

also, you are missing the pipe from the fuel dampner to the balance bar

Yep det sensor, do an ecu check, should show up.

Either fit new one, plenium off im affraid, or bypass with a 1megaohm resistor.

If you need a new connector, go to a scrapyard and find a similar age micra, the sub fan has exactly same connector. Put in your pocket, plus loads of other connectors, go to gate and pay for one. Mine cost me a quid..............

 

EDIT....In no way do i agree with this type of shopping....

For some reason I cant stop thinking about raving in the early 90s with glowsticks in fields.

I see what you where you are coming from, must leave the can of spray paint alone!!!!!

 

I was only changing the PCV's and hoses.
