Now my Z is all up and running I need to think about making it look better lol.

 

So I already have the wheels in mind - Rota Grid Drifts.

 

Its having the bodywork sorted in a few weeks time to get rid of the rust patches on the arches, so I have 3 colours in mind, what do you think?

 

I'd be happy with either, but want feedback, as one may be an acquired taste lol. ;)

 

 

So - as it stands at the mo (check out the multicolour reds :headvswal )

Olive Drab

 

Black

 

White

Can't beat red. Go for Ferrari blood red if possible.

Agreed with previous comments that it would need to be the right shade of Olive, but it would be ubber cool !:cool:

'Different' isn't always 'good'. Seen many ruined cars because owners want to be different. Painting a car a baby sick colour that has all the airs and graces of a blackboard is 'different'.....but 'attractive and slick'? Narrrr! LOL

I knew it was a love it or hate it (and I knew a certain someone would hate it :rofl: ) but it looks like I'm getting the support and backing that I would need if I was to choose the first colour. I have these visions in my head about how it would look but haven't really spoke to anyone about it :rofl: so its good now its out in the open, and glad people would like it ;)

Thats not a problem, I don't plan to sell it anytime soon ;)

 

Regarding colour changes - its about highlighting areas, (then how I did it) desaturate, then mess around with variations and brightness/contrast etc. Followed by history brush to get rid of the excess. ;)

Tbh, with those NISMO wheels you're planning you could paint a picture of a dog turd on the bonnet and the car would still look good. In my judgement zeds should be either black or white (although you can get away with red if you pick the right wheels). Although I'd say go with olive, just for the fact that it will be the only one in the counrty.
