I use a large make-up brush on my projector's lens. Don't think you can get any softer than that (if you're worried about scratches).

never use spary or wipes or any thing like that

a soft cloth (microfibre) and h20 (water) only , there is no reason to use anything else, if you are just dusting then there is no need to use a chemical or wipe, just use the cloth. most companys are realising this now and will give you a cloth with the tv and the cloth package normaly will have no spray / chemicals slaped all over it

 

with my brand new 40 LED tv , which i must say its fecking sweet and uber thin, you get a small gay size cloth to use too

These are great for shifting dust on delicate components like screens, lenses etc. I also use one to clean inside my pc

i have a trusty paint brush for that , funny you say that i only did that last night
