Will a tt manual box fit a non turbo manual engine without the need to swap anything over?

I think you will heve a problem with the starter motor. It will be too far off the NA ring gear on the NA flywheel.

when my auto NA was converted to Manual , they fitted a TT box.

remember the TT box has a heavier clutch and therefore the power assisted clutch pedal/master cylinder

I thought that but the face where the starter bolts on to the centre of the input shaft measure the same. Are you sure the starters are not different sizes to account for the fly?

thing is they would have fitted a tt flywheel and clutch too. im on about fitting a tt box to a non turbo flywheel and engine.

just read an article and it states that a tt sp and na sp have one little difference the spot where the starter motor mounts on the bell housing . the tt is machined a little differently so that the starter will properly engage the slightly larger flywheel. you can use the tt in an na but you would either have to grind down where the starter mounts so it can engage the fly or use the tt flywheel.

changing the flywheel is not an option as i have a fidenza light weight one. tbh i have a na gearbox and i could swap bellhousings over its just that i really dont want to split my new gearbox , sealing it back up could be an arse!

may go down the skim the starter or bellhousing route!
