Thanks guys and sorry for the hassle

i have had a few of the nitro cars in the past. But my advice would be to go for a proper petrol (2 stroke) model. They are that bit bigger and loads more reliable. the nitro ones just seem fiddly and really tempremental.

loads of fun though.

Cheers

danny

no bother. Just researching into them now........really fancy getting one, seen a few drift cars on teh nitro site, might be kind of intresting to have, but theres a good few for about 120quid which i thought is not bad.

not sure what to get tho, would love a turbo one with a dump valve.lol.

is the upkeep on them hard, where do you source all your parts? tyres etc...

a guy on preludeUK is selling his for £120 he put it up today i think. Its 200mm an S15 chassis with a soarer shell, apartently its got up rated tyres too

I have just built a R/C electric car after a 20 year break from R/C stuff loved building it and I am looking at buying a Nitro kit next, not sure which one to go for yet though.

I have a Nito car and cant fault it. was a sod to start when its new but as soon as its all tuned in etc its so easy to start. also have a nito plane and heli :) expensive hobbie.....

I have had a couple over the years and they are a laugh, very fast but easily broken, can be expensive if like me you hit anything and everything.
