can anyone recommend a chrome spray paint out of the can.

Sprayed my new 18s silver the other week but they dont show the deep dish so well. I hear you can buy chrome effect paint in a can. Any one used this and know where i can get this.

Your help most appreciated.

Thanks mate, but looking into doing it myself as money is very tight. How much is a good price though?

ive used some of this paint in the past and to be honest i'd say dont waist your money. If you want to paint the light fittings in your house its ok but anything thats going to get dirty is a no no.

Chrome effect paint out of a can is essentially a pile of :xxx: Defineately not a good idea on an exterior part!

Polishing or repainting in a bright silver is the way to go i think ;)

Do you know of any codes for bright silver. I used 350z silver on my first attempt but would like them brighter. I will try and take a pick to show you.

Where are you buying paint from?

Personally i go to an independant place close by and just ask them for the brightest silver they do. You can pick from loads of swatches then too :)

Even the brightest silver is not close to chrome, but if its very metallic its a good look i think. More tasteful than chrome IMO :)

Just go in and ask to look at their swatches and ask to see the brightest silvers they do and pick one. You'll need clear coat on top also to give it a nice shine and what not ;)

what did you use isaac for your headlights thats nice and bright :)

Its plasticote chrome effect spray paint and yeah its OK, however that is in a sealed unit. You cannot put clear coat on top of it as it turns it grey! So having it on an exterior part will not work at all! :(

I was just wondering for my headlights

Well i'm doing the same again with my 99er's. It is no where near chrome btw but it does look good :)
