have had extensive tests on the car. Unfortunatley i had a broken Det sensor but apart from that i have no low compression and i also had the balance test done and every piston ran well on its own and without the need for turning on Air con to stop it from stalling (which my old car needed) and that still ran sweet.

Overall the car engine (althouth dirty) is in VERY good nick. i do have twitchy injector cables that throw a piston out when just wiggling the cable so will be changing them soon for a new loom. My driver side O2 sensor is lazy at cold but once warmed up is absolutely spot on abd responsive (a sign its on its way out?)

the wastegates were not piped on at all and are now,the aftermarket silicone hoses were the wrong size ( too big) which they think was giving out under full boost so i might find the originals for that too.

the only thing that was wierd is i had 2 autobox warnings on the self diagnosis however when the garage done it there are now no warnings on :(

luckily i have bought a manual conversion kit so i am not throwing money at the auto as its pointless. Still works so after it is out i may aswell just offer it to someone on here in a bind for emergency.

Overall my wife and i are very glad because we started to think i bought a lemon this time. Luckily it was just the setups other owners previously did and to find out the engine is infact in a very good condition is a bit more pleasing.

should be getting the car back soon and then ill start to do the interior and conversion aswell as cleaning the engine bay up more :)

some good news atlast!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

That's great news, must be a relief.

Is that your car in your avatar pic? It's looks potentially rather nice, you need to get some decent pics uploaded!

Oh, so you do. If you click on your rides though it says 'no photos', so I didn't bother looking any further! Looks very nice, I do like that colour.

i will get more photos done but unfortunatly the previous owner who painted it went cheap and did not respray engine bay :(

will have to do that another time as its red but another suggestion from a friend and forum member was to add white and have colours of the british flag hahahah

don't think i will but atleast it was a suggestion :) will save up to spray but i guess its engine out to do so, will have to wait until i one day get engine out but might be a while now as engine is fine as is. won't fix what's not broken
