It looks like the invertor is burnt out, you can get them from maplins on deffo on ebay, it basically changes the voltage from 12v to 110v

Asking for help is not a problem, thats what we are here for, but please dont post for items wanted until you subscribe, as per your previous post.

Cheers

OK, we shall start at the beginning.........

Have you checked the incoming wire to see if you have 12vDC on them?

If you have, does the inverter make any sound at all?

If it does, do you have 110vAC on the wires coming from the inverter (ie; going to the panel)

I suspect your answers will be...

1) YES

2) NO

3) NO

And as I've already told you, your inverter is fooked, as you can tell by the bulge in the side of it!

By the look of the bubble on the old one, that may have been your problem all along ie: not wired correctly

Amar,

I have already told you this info, the new inverter will be clearly marked with 12vDC input and 110vAC output.....

lol,,,lol...lol......nah not my name but me brothers yes...drink still on me(i prefer me spirits so shots on me),,if u come and wire it up,,ill sort you out a curry with that...home cooked,,none of that takeaway under cooked crap...

thanks again pal...

I'm glad you're sorted, it's straight forward to fit just needs soldering and insulating once it's done. The wires that come from your lighting circuit (number plate lamps maybe?) will go to the 12v side and the ones that go toward your panel will be the side marked 'EL'.

Don't get the input 12v wires the wrong way round... the positive MUST go to the + and the Negative MUST go to the -, otherwise it wont work. The output wires don't matter, as they'll work both ways round.

Incidentally I've got two of the genuine Green panels, and once I get the latest one working I may consider selling it complete :D

Can i call dibs on it now??? :D

You can, but I've gota see if I can get it to work first. It was sold as working, but on testing when it arrived it wouldn't light up. The inverter works properly and gives out a nice 110v, but no light :(

May be a case of having to take it apart and see if there is anything I can do with it, but I wont be happy if I find out it's fooked!
