Before i carry on...

When i refer to used i mean 2000 miles old. Have of which was running in miles on the dyno in a controlled enviroment.

These are not the parts the garage were meant to be using for my old build.

The engine failed after 2000 miles due to a pulley snapping off the front of the block.

I need to check condition of parts and everything will be sold with the buyer being aware of the engine they were removed from failed. So i would advise they get everything checked before using.

I will check parts for condition before listing and take detailed pics.

the parts are as follows.

JWT R4 cams (Wild)

JWT heavy duty valve springs

Wiseco forged pistons

Eagle Rods

ARP bolts

oil pump (2000 mile old as the rest above)

Got a funny feeling i am missing something off.

the heads them selves, polished and ported.

the block itself machined for the pistons above.

Does not come with crank or gaskets.

Some parts may not be up to condition. I am not sure at this point. I think the heads should be fine.

As for the pistons who knows. the rods should be fine.

The car was running rich on two of the cylinders.

I worked out the parts alone were £2000 worth. I was thinking £1000 and throwing in the polish and ported heads and bottom block if it was usable. Would both need skimming for the new gaskets i would imagine. That is a guess for my lack of knowledge.

If anyone reads this and is interested these will not be availible just yet. but i will take dibs for when it is ready on the assumtion of £1000 assuming all internals are usable and not damaged or worn to excecive degree.

Ok sure thing.

As Lahsx said he did contact me first via pm, so first refusal goes to him.

Ideally i would sell the lot as a package.

Hi i have simular spec can i ask what makes you think why the pulley snapped off??

Could it of been the cams?

  • Author

It wasnt a main pulley.

Sorry should have clarified.

It was one of the small pulleys that just route the belt around the engine.

If it was a main cam pulley then the cam probably would be damaged.

It was the bolt which snapped which holds the pully in place.
