Looking for Skyline Pads and Brake system

Want to upgrade my brakes as I find the stock ones on the imports a bit crap. Been told you can get skyline ones which are infinitely better and bolt them staight on. Does anyone have any at all

Hi,

Warren A.K.A 300z is the man to talk to about skyline brakes, they are pretty much a bolt on set up and retain ABS. Regarding the dump valve you're looking for, it's pretty much a waste of money (unless you're buying them just for the whooshing sound!) as the 300zx comes with two as standard that are actually more efficient than most aftermarket ones.

Hope this helps,

Brian

Skylines calipers and discs bolt straight on but you'll need bigger wheels to fit. You'll also need longer bolts for the caliper. Much better than std brakes (not difficult!). I'm using them. They have a tendency to squeal at very low speed (walking pace) if not skimmed / deglazed.

For consideration is cost of ownership. pads are expensive and replacement disks are too. This is because the sizes are used by a very few cars (pads by skline and 7 series) and discs by Skyline only. AP racing kits are twice as expensive to buy but cheaper to live with over time. Of course "cheap" is a relative term!

phone Johnny, cos I've got a set of R34 callipers sitting here waiting to go back to Him!!!!!!!!
