Fuel Pressure Regulator

hi folks,

I'm after a fuel pressure regulator for a 93 Z UK spec.

it's shown in the online manual under "engine fuel and emission control systems" page 16.

Mine is leaking and causing a nice petrol smell when I turn the heaters on.

if you have one for sale I'd be very greatful

Many thanks

Bri

Is it the regulator itself leaking or the piping to it ? Pipe leaks are quite common, new hoses and new clips is the best solution, and unusually a cheap one too !

Its a std nissan jobbie. Order from local dealer or Nissan Courtesy in usa. Or try one of the cars that are breaking on this forum for a 2nd hand one.

Yeah, i got that smell too, after tightening all the clips it went within a day or so and hasnt done it again

Yep, it has 3 connections. Pipe right under it you can hardly see goes down to the injector rail - thats the one that was pissing fuel on mine on cold mornings - made me think broke FPS too.

Nope it's definatly the FSP guys, I've taken it off and checked it, it's leaking where the two half join together, that little piece of metal is over £100 from the dealer and I've just forked out £500 for an exhaust so I'm skint, I'll keep trying the breakers if nothing turns up I'll have to wait till next month. thanks for your replies
