East Fortune Museum Of Flight, just out side Edinburgh hosts this every year.

Entitled Magnificent Machines, incorparates everything with an engine, from cars, bikes, aircraft, traction engines etc, etc.

 

Loads of stuff to see as its not just a car show, as you have four aircraft hangars to browse throo as well.

 

Had a good turn out from the Jap guys this year, mainly Subaru and Honda with a few Mitsi GTO`S etc. A Zed appearance next year would go down really well I reckon !!

 

Anyhoo, a few pics, and if these are in the wrong bit, Mods, feel free to do as you wish !

 

Scotlands fastest Pontiac was there as well ! Just after blowing away a new Lambo, Ferrari and a Ford GT at Race The Runway a week earlier !!

Never thought mate, you could have jumped aboard and travelled in with us !!

My 16 year old neice was hanging out the window with a Vid Cam as I was sitting very sensible at 70 mph. Andy passed us with the V8 and the blower at full whine in excess of 130 just outside Musselburgh ! Will upload the vid soon.

 

Get sorted for next year as its a great show. Took over 315 pics, so much to see.

Still think the middle of the field would have benefited from a few Zeds tho !

Its called a Hensen, only about 17 of them ever built apparently ?

Ford running gear, V6 engine and 5 speed manual. Strange looking car,

but quite quick and the paintwork was immaculate !

Heehee, it does look a bit outa place !

Only reason it was there is the guy that was driving it owns his own company, bodywork/painting. He has done some work to some of the cars that were there. His Chevy wasnt ready so he brung that Rover along as an advert for his skills really. Altered Image is his companys name.

Most definite mate. Loads of things to see and do. Lots off families there as its geared up for that. Hardly a Chav/Ned in site, which was a pleasant change ! A few Zeds would have been most welcome. Management team are excellent to organise stuff with.
