then when running it goes down to 1/4 tank

then when car is turned off it goes back up

which should i believe

when i fill up from 1/4 when runnnig it takes around 50 quid..

i always go by the lower reading but which one is telling the truth??

i find it best to carry a empty jerrycan in the boot, and always reset your distance monitor on every fill up, that way doesn't matter, if you know how many miles you get per fiver, you can pretty much work out how much is left in the tank after a fill up, though 72 liter tank, id be inclined to believe that its the lower of the two when filling up. might be a sticky level flotation thingy (bit that sits in your fuel and tells you how much is left) though i do not know this car very well due to only just getting mine, so I'm open to correction.

cheers bud..

milage is varies a lot due to my right foot :smash:

Fuel gauges are sh1te IMO...they never give a linear output. Parking at a slight angle doesn't help either.

I thought it was a 60 litre tank???

its a 72ltr mate.

I find my tank gauge really accurate, i've never seen it go up though only down lol, I once managed to get 71 litres in it which I thought was quite impressive.
