Fitting tein monoflex

Hi Guys, a quick question

Any ideas how easy it is to fit tein monoflex suspension all round. i have just ordered this with EDFC. I have done a lot of mods on my own. Guessing i will need spring clamps to hold spring in compression for when you unbolt, the original bits and remove, then bolt in a pre-assemble Tein coilover and bolt up. it might come with complete instructions??

How do you know how far to bolt everything up?

Was planning on fitting stillen anti roll bars & tension rods, adjustable suspension and AP Big brakes at the same time!!

Or would you recommend getting this done at a garage?

Any help appreciated?

Regards

Kev

you wont need spring compressors, the existing dampner and spring comes off in one.

Fitting is straight forward, the only hassle is having to remove all your boot trim to get to the top bolts.

A Torque wrench comes in handy, and torque settings are usually given and can be checked in the online Z manual.

It should come with details on how to setup the preload and adjust the height. You'll need adjustable arms front and back if you dont already have them, and the entire alignment redone after you have set your desired ride height.

one tip is when you reomve a the boot panels put the nuts back on the threads till the jobs done, that way you know where they all go

tis straight forward enough, me and my dad did mine and only took a coulple of hours

i would also reccomend a powertrix hicas removal bar and replace the inner and outer balljoints while your at it, makes a hooge dfference

The boot area is already empty from having car sprayed. The car has Koni adjustable shocks and a set of lower springs. Are you saying when i unbolt them the spring wont fire off and kill me??

The reason i have brought the Tein is since fitting the body kit, the front bumper is too low.

Plan on keeping Hicas as it works fine. would it still be an idea to replace inner & outer ball joints. could you hightlight their locations for me?
