Just made a phone call to Carol Nash insurance after searching threads on here, and have been quoted £139. They are going to ring me back tonight to let me know if they have to increase it slightly because of my alloy's being slightly wider on the back compared to standard wheel's.What do you think the outcome will be, an increase of £100.

Just tried Carol Nash and Lynbrook and I'm struggling to get any good prices mainly due to my car is my daily driver, best quote I've had so far is £460, anyone recommend any more, ive tried gocompare and confused.com these came up with the £460 fully comp protected NCB 6k miles parked on drive no points or claims in last 5 years, i think the import "tag" is killing the prices.

Don't think will insure me as its a daily driver got it down to £463 so far.

£585 with them would be £300 if it weren't import though.

can you get an older adult to put there name on your policy as a named driver, that should drop it.

Not really an option as I'm 35, tbh £463 aint too bad, main problem is its on street parking and NG postcode doesnt help, if i do it TPFT and no protected NCB it comes out about £350 but i think the extra 100 or so is worth it for piece of mind.

Cheers for the heads up anyway
