bonnet struts.

There was a car at Jae today which had a carbon bonnet with bonnet struts fitted.

 

I have been told that you can not fit a bonnet strut to a carbon bonnet as it will damage it.

 

However this guy had not attached the strut to the bonnet but had made a bracket which was fixed to the brackets which hold the bonnet on.

 

Very good idea and a solution to people wanting struts on a carbon bonnet.
