Got the kit from the USA. Jimmer and I did the seats and I had a hide taken to a good trim shop in Bristol to cut and double stitch all the panel work. I can't add to the poll for that reason.

I got some Lightweight Recliners in Alcantara and turned out to be Far Cheaper than just a kit let alone Fitting it :)

I have retrimmed 3 of my own Z's interior panels and fitted a seat kit to one, and also had the panels done professionally on my slicktop.

If you buy the seat kits then its possible to fit them to a good standard yourself. May have to redo some places several times to get the best fit but its doable.

But as for the panels, I have never seen panels retrimmed to a professional standard by anyone as DIY who have just bought the material and cut it themselves ! There is always wrinkles, creases, and bubbles in several places whenever somebody retrims the panels themselves. I was never happy with the work on my own panels and whenever I have been in other Z's or somebody posts pics on here of there own panels you can always spot flaws. For it to look right the panels need stitching.

I had my SWB rear panels, and the centre and door armrests redone by a professional retrimmer in leather and the high quality of the job just doesn't compare. Everything stitched in the right places to avoid stretch marks and Im very pleased with the work. I paid about 300 for this, but was quoted 500 to have all the panels done, but the rest of of my panels are original suede so I left them.

i have both the seat kit and the trim/card kit. i really wouldnt have the patience to do the console/doors myself but i was about to have a crack at the seats starting with the rears, until i found that the online step-by-step guide has gone! have emailed the seller and hopefully he can point me in the direction of another guide

Cool. I got the same as you but with a black headrest and black stiching.

I have got the seats 98% perfect.

all the other bits are good to. Its so hard trying to get it to stick and stretch around all the funny bits. So not 100% but for a 1st attempt i am well chuffed :)
