well, i had a sheet of ally lying around so i thought i would make up a slam pannel.

thanks to Wendy for the loan of his carbon pannels, i was able to make up a card board template...

then draw the shape and cut it out, Topless gave me an idea about covering the top of the rad so, i left the center for such purpose...

bending the ally was the trickyest as i dont have a line bender but, with a few carefully chosen lumps of wood and a handfull of G clamps, i managed it...

just a little bit of filing and making good and its ready for fitting...

thanks buddy, i know what you mean about all the jobs ;)

i've just started to make a fire wall to seperate all the fuel components from the engine. should be interesting :S

looks ok, need a bit refining but overall a good job, will this help aid the cooling of the rad as it will direct air more through the rad from the headlight panel?????

thanks for the comments guy's, it does need a little fetlling around the top of the rad but, im going to leave that until i put a vent in the bonnet, then work out a way of making a complete rad duck to channel the hot air up through and out.

i dont think it will make a blind difference to the air flow, i just wanted to cover up the "dodgy paint work" as Jimbo so eloquently put it :D

looks good mate. What about the bonnet catch tho?
