My colleagues and me made a sort video and entered to this competition.

We re-made the matrix called "The Matrix Reformatted" and all made by a mobile phone as it was requested in this competition.

was good like the way the transitions were used with the agent dodging the bullets :D

Thanks lads, It took 2 Saturday to make the shoots, and 2 Sunday to edit, music etc...

All scene captured by an LG U990. There are better quality phones all around but that phone has a very cheesy option to record in 120frame/sec, so you can do a slow motion then. That’s why we used it. The crew was great, I loved to work with them.

i liked the location! i need some locations like that for my films, as ours are doine in deserted areas where there are no people around , but no access to places like that.

This was all captured in our workplace, so it was easy for us...

yeh will do, there is one on youtube but they took the sound off due to the rights, that was done about a year ago with blue screen etc, but this year we have improved and going for something a little bigger involving car chases etc. so yeh once its done will put it up.

Thats why we made the sound. It would be better with original matrix sound, but its not allowed to enter like that (due to rights). So we had to make something similar.

As soon as the competition is over, will go to youtube with a special making off video.

forget to say.. when you record the car crash, please say the fairlady will be safe! You will broke my hearth if you crash it!

 

R u creating that for fun or some challenge/competition?

tip for you bub, go to a music college put up a note asking for a student to do a short film score...maybe in exchange for pizza / beer etc...they get a credit on the clip (good on their CV etc) and you get some decent music ...everyone's a winner

yeh the car will be 100% safe lol, its not for competition its for our own veiwing pleasure and fun :D we enjoy doing it, and are mates love watching them lol.

haha...very good...what tune was being used mate?

CraigTT: Twe bought the shotgun in Smyths toys store, but it was awfully colored. Green and yellow, so we have to paint it to be acceptable in the movie.

 

Uno: The sort film was edited in Imovie and its a built in track so its not copyrighted, so we ware able to use it :D
