Dear 300ZX ,

I am interested in buying either a 300zx or a Mitsubishi GTO. Can anybody help me? If I was to go and test drive a 300zx what are the most important things to look out for?

I am sorry to ask questions that so many of you will have answered before. I really appreciate your help!

Yes.

be prepared to work on it yourself, or pay garages regularly.

It is possible to run one without selling a kidney + some are boringly reliable.

The bit that bugs me is shops and 'specialists' never seem to have what you want 'on the shelf' + have to order the part.can still be quick though.

some keep a zed as a second car, i drive one most days+ try to have access to a 2nd car.

ive owned my zed for 2 months, love the car, hate the auto box, never liked auto's anyway! my mate up the road has 6 gto's 2 on the road and 4 to keep the other two going!! haha, i also agree with z32king about if your taller than 6ft2 then the gto is a little cramped, im 6ft3 and fit in the zed fine. both cars seem equally as nice to drive, id say its all down to money and looks?? looks wise the zed is far better in my opinion.
