I am trying to update my conzult software to my new lap top and do not seem to be able to any body help.

 

I have received the version 2.4 from Danny to put onto my laptop which is running basic vista,but its not letting me do anything!!

IIRC go into the settings and match the Com port with the cable is using,

 

you can find out if you right click on my computer, manage, device manager, then look on the USB devices for the cable, easy way to do this, is to pull the cable out, then plug it back in, it will then appear easier to see

Think i had a similar problem with mine when i tried installing conzult on my new laptop, i just left it with murt and all was sorted.

Just chiming in as I've onlly just noticed this thread.

 

It does sound like a com port issue. To resolve it you need to make sure the comport for your USB dongle is the same as the one listed in the ConZult software. To find out which com port has been allocated visit the Device Manager and then in the ConZult software itself you'll need to select this comport from the drop down menu in the settings screen.

PS - make sure you're running the Vista USB converter drivers (should be on the CDR I sent you)
