..... by the xbox 360 bug :D

 

I've got my kids over for the next couple of weeks and my lad's brought his xbox with him.

Although it is an HDMI version we're using it via the Component plugs and with an opticle out to the surround sound system :cool: Now I know I don't have to tell you guys that already play in HD and with surround sound how good it is, but to those that don't...... you've gota try it, it's awesome :D

Been playing COD 2 & 4 all weekend....... very :cool:

 

Anyway, to the point of this post, I've been offed an xbox 360 complete, with 2 years left on the warranty and in perfect condition for less than 100 notes! Hmmmmmmm I'm thinking that's a bargain (I wholeheartedly trust the person offering it to me) The only thing is, it'll have to be modded, I can't have a White box sat with all my shiney black system, so a black shiney case will have to be fitted :cool: anyone done this?

Its worth it! I have a 360, love it to bits! Drifto on forza 2 for the win!!!

yeah i done this the kit you buy from ebey should come with the special key to open it you need this otherwise you will just break it. tho only thing thats a pain was the hard drive was still white. iv since sold my 360 as i had a ps3 aswell wish i had sold the ps3 instead 360 was much better

Oooh check you Dave ;) I had to buy my 3rd console as the others packed up but I have a black elite model now :D I take it the one you have been offered is a 'Premium' and not an 'Arcade', if its the latter then it wont come with a hard drive.

i have the black xbox and im aways playing on it . have the 1080p tv and have set up suround sound with this it is awesome . Been playing assassin creed plus cod 4&5 now started Call of Juarez 2 - Bound In Blood which is great

Yeah i got bitten by the bug about 18 months ago. The Call of Duty line of games are awesome although alot prefer 4 (Modern Warfare) to 5 (World at War) but 6 (Modern Warfare 2) is due in the next few months and that looks amazing. Other games I enjoy are Rock Band, Left 4 Dead, Battlefield: Bad Company (Story Mode) to name only a few.

I have about 50+ games now and ive bought most of them from ebay for about £10-15. I am also a member of LoveFilm which allows you to rent a game for as long as you want so you can try them out. If I like it I buy it on ebay, simples! :)

Yeah it's the Premium version. The guy I'm buying it off has just bought an Elite, with 7 games, for £140!! :eek: So he's selling his previous one, I'll probably do a deal on a few games as he buys and sells game all the time.

remember if you change the cover you wont have any warranty though as you have opened it and broke the seal

Well it's finally at my house (which is good, as I took my kids back last night as well :( )

Only cost me £80, but no games as he didn't have anything I wanted, so I've nicked my lads COD2 :D I'm not on-line yet as I need a longer ethernet cable, which I haven't got yet and anyway I want to be a bit better at it, before I embarrass myself ;)

Oh, and it's still in it's white case, undecided whether to swap the case over to a Gloss Black one or not (I can obtain a new warranty sticker if I need to ;) )

X Box 360 are releasing project natal check it out on youtube... its absolutley quality..........late 2010 tho...
