you can guess how much my breaker weighs if you want :D

legrath seen as your here, Have you thought about stripping the insides of the doors? heard you can loose quite a bit doing this with some saftey issues tho but if your welding in a cage it doesnt matter.

Some years have the door impact bars. Mine does'nt have them.

I can imagine they weigh a fair bit. Other than that there is just the electric window gubbins and some sheet metal that everythign bolts to.

might strip these out, but im not sure if i have the impact bars, i also wanna perspex my rear window and do something about the t bars, maybe make fibreglass copies or replace the glass with perspex too.

whats left in there lol. only kidding hahaha

Not much, you can fit your head in the wheel arches with the wheels on! lol

Not bad at all that. How far have gone with stripping out? Have you swapped the spare for a lightweight SWB spare inflatable. Big difference in weight (and size) between the two

erm no spare at all lol, wont fit over brakes anyhow, ive got spare wheels with tyres that fit but dont keep it in the car.

i havent gone too far with stripping, still have all the interior in apart form rear seats.

It made a huge difference to mine when all i had was the carpet, dash, carbon kevlar bucket seat, no rear panels/carpet or spare.

Went like a rat up a drain pipe up the pod and lost nearly a second off my quarter mile over stock :D lol

i Was going to mention Glass weighs a Tonne! So swap it for some perspex! Think every window except the Front Windscreen can be perspex!

I can imagine the Rear window weighs Loads so will be a good weight reduction on that if you do change it!

I'd go for Plexyglass myself, stronger and clearer. Talk to slick pete i know he said he's having some made up for his SWB
