there is a pair of turbos in the for sale section..

say no end float.. what does this mean,..

i have no idea..

is it bad , good, does it need a part??

pete

think it means there is no play in the shaft. not really sure though. best to wait and see what the seller says.

nor had mine had any play in shaft and they still boosted but the iol seal has gone, when on inspection on tacking them to bits they where knackerd..dont buy sec hand tubs unless you know the car or someone dose and its been hit

If you are rebuilding the turbo (ie Seals etc) best to send the Shaft and Blades off to be Refurbed and BALANCED and this shall eliminate any play in the shaft.

Thats the nearside mate (or n/s), called that due to it being nearest the curb. Drivers side is called offside (o/s) If you use that term, you will always get the right side (only works in rhd cars tho')
