Hey all, brand new member here, just picked up the car and haven't had the chance to do a formal introduction yet (I'll save it for the newbies section).

 

Anyway, couldn't believe my eyes today when a purple 300ZX pulled up next to me at the traffic lights on the above roundabout around 1pm today. I'm assuming it was Paulzx as there aren't that many purple Z's about!

 

Hello mate! Nice looking car - don't judge mine yet, it's looking a bit tatty as I've only owned it a week, but nothing a good bit of machine polishing, elbow grease and a ridiculous amount of cleaning products won't solve :D

Yes it was me. Spotted you at the previous roundabout and thought right lets see who it is, as i hardly ever see any zeds around here. Looked like a very nice car you had there. What mods is it running? Take its manual by the sounds of it?

Yeah, it's a manual. At the moment, it's been remapped\chipped at ZedWorld, had twin dump valves fitted (can't remember the brand off the top of my head) and a stainless exhausts from the cats back. Gonna get it on a rolling road at some point to see what kind of power it's putting down, as I'd like to see what the above has done to it.

 

Aye, we'll have to meet up for a chat at some point, the only other Z I've seen in the area is a grey one in Thornaby.

What boost are you running?

I've got no accurate figures, only what the dash says and what the previous owner told me which is 15psi at the moment.

Mine is 9 psi :D

Project car has taken a back seat for a while as i have bought a house. Got all the bits just no cash to get it sorted :(. It will get done just prioritys have changed for now.

only took it off in june, just needs taxing and cant justify getting it yet as I just wasn't using it, maybe once in 6 wks lol.

I *think* it had a spoiler, but it was a couple of months ago now so I really have no idea!
