I am a little concerned the two smaller rads on the car won't keep it cool enough, bothe have electric fans on. One is controlled by a manual switch and the other by the old electric fan switch so cuts in when very hot.

I was thinking of fitting an electric pump I have into the cooling system to get the water flowing better and helping out the OE pump as the water system is bigger now.

Any thoughts?

JD has some experience with this, he is running an Electric pump on his. MR2's run electric water pumps too, and I know people retrofit these when doing engine conversions.

What CFM are the fans, and how big are your radiators ?

Have you tried changing the thermostat and the two temp sensors?

Mine boiled up 3 times before i realised the thermostat wasn't opening up early enough or by the right amount

Temp sensors ok, I have aftermarket gauge. Switched on the pump and 2nd fan and the temp isn't going down so thought the rads may not be big enough between them.

Anyway I have ordered a new thermostat as it's a cheaper option to try 1st before a alloy rad!!!!
