F.A.O Orange contract customers

I took out a 18month contract last november and got a c905 sony ericsson....

Yesterday while in the carphone warehouse an employee told me about orange upping the cost of using your phone outside of your inclusive minutes and charging double, he also told me this isnt in the contract! so legally the contract means fook all, i then rang them up and explained what i knew and then let me and my girlfriend cancel our contracts with no fee, no nothing and we keep our phones and get away without paying the £290 they wanted off each of us to cancel it, happy days! Now im gonna sell me phone and get another contract with a different network as i think orange is poo...rant over.

Unfortunatley not lol, but its deffo worth ago if your on orange as you can save a lot of money

Orange sent me a text this morning telling about changing the cost of some calls that are not included in my plan.... they sent me a web link to see, but I'm only allowed to access this site if I use Oranges GPRS network connection..... so I have to pay for something that tells me I'm haveing my contract changed!!! How bloody unfair is that?! Theiving barstewards!

Cancel the fooker then! you wont have to pay a thing, google it and all will be explained

Just got off the phone to Orange... I'm still an Orange customer, but I'm now paying 5 pound less per month for the same deal ....... which is Unlimited texts and 600 mins, I'm lucky if I go above 150 mins a month! so not much chance of being charged any extra :D

Thanks for the heads-up John, appreciate it :D

That's a bloody good deal

I've only got until February to go with this contract (18 months), but they said I could get an upgrade in November, so I'll see what's on offer then :D

I think that's the route I'll go.

I've been an Orange customer for 15 years and the only reason I stay with them is coverage. Whenever I'm way off the beaten track in the wilds of Cornwall etc, I always have a signal when companions on other networks do not!

It can be a bit poor inside some buildings though - I believe that's down to the frequency used. Orange and Tmobile use a different frequency than O2 and Vodafone.......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yep same here, I've been with them for 10 years now, and only because of where I worked then (and again now) Orange is the only network that works in our building!! I've always had problems getting what I want at upgrade time, but always get my way in the end :D
