feels like it going to stall?????

hi everyone!

iv only had my 30zx a week or so so am a real newb when it comes to faults etc!

basically i have a 1990 2+2 auto, the car drives fine when accelerating and has good power still and boosts up fine, but when i come to a stand still like at some lights or end of the road etc the car starts to idle badly as if she is going to stall on me :(

now its an auto if that helps, but what would cause this?? especially as she drives fine, its just when at a stand still??

Have a look at the connector to the MAF, sometimes gets a bit green and corroded, clean the blades of the connctors with a small file and some eletrical contact cleaner.

Also check the MAf element isnt dirty, also can be cleaned with contact stuff.

Dont try and clean with a cotton bud, as its very very delicate.

I use Ambersol,

If the maf is dirty or damp will cause crappy running.
