There i was with my mate today out enjoying the sunshine and rekindling my love for the 300zx when matey boy pulls behind me in a beaten up 5 door corsa b revin the nuts out of it, i laughed as you would and floored it! then about a mile down the road hes back behind me again and im just pootling along and he overtakes me so then i drop it down a gear expecting to go rocketing past! but no, i was actually struggling to keep up with the little scrote! so i kept chasing the little fooker hoping i could catch up with him and ask what the fook hes got under the bonnet, by the time i got near him i arrived at my destination, let the sod go and swollowed my pride. Me and my mate were sat in the pub for the next couple of hours trying to figure out what engine he had in there? could a redtop engine in a corsa be that quick??

I know the feeling Johnwayne, about 4 months ago I was filling up on a motorway service station, and a black corsa came screaming in, really raspy exhaust, some little chav gets out and fills it up and comes in to pay, we gets back into our car and he shoots out infront of me... I thought right, you little b*****d, and I got upto him in the fast lane, then he just dropped it and left me.. I was absolutely mortified and my friend who was in the car with me couldn't believe it either.. it was an old corsa, the 1996 variant.. but i'm convinced it either had a C20let or a Calibra V6 in it.. with the 4x4 system to boot lol.. it's not a nice feeling, being beaten by a sleeper lol..

well, it was the fact I was pulling out slowly then he just blasted infront of me without considering the fact I had right to way i.e. Give way to the right, so I had to slam the anchors on.. So I wanted to teach him a lesson, but ended up getting owned in the process...

Common play in Corsa's now to stick the c20let (turbo) or c20xe (N/A) engine in there. Can easily pump out around 200hp and if they are weighing in at less than 1tonne we have had it!
