wow, what a car, can shift aswell, its the 3.0 diesel and goes like shit off a shovel considering the size of it, bit small inside, feels just like his 04 3 series bmw

i could easily have one of those over a performance car any day, but i would be worried that the novelty would ware off quite quickly

everything is electrical and is so much fun

anyone looking for a jeep should seriousely try one of these, they feel just like a car when driving

Hi mate couldnt agree more!! I bought the 4.4 sport last year cos the missus wanted something that could tow her pony trailer and I needed a comfortable daily driver. They really do drive well. Really quick and excellent handling (better than most saloon/coupes I wouyld say). I drive the Alston road to Preston every Monday (weather permitting) and its great fun round there.

I know there is a bit of a stigma attached to Beemers and 4x4s and especially Beemer 4x4s but who cares :).

I have an 05 plate x5 and to be honest i couldnt think of another car i would rather have as a daily drive.

And as a bonus its still only £200 a year to tax

Heres a quick pic of mine before i put my personal X555 plate on

Ive had mine for a year now and its never missed a beat.

It only needs a oil change once every 2 years and as long as you change the breather filter betwen the rocker covers you will have no problems.

Saying that i will soon need 2 tyres and theyre not cheap:cry:

Yeh mine too - never missed a beat (I guess you can have bad experiences with any car). Took mine to Spain last year for a road trip down to my brother's wedding. Not the cheapest road trip I ever did but probably the most comfortable :)).

That said they do have a couple of issues ... the nice silver side-steps corrode and pit badly and arent cheap to replace, and you have to take the front headlights out to change front indicator bulbs ... BMW charged my other half 100 quid to do it when I was away last time ... :s. Then again Fifth Gear exposed Renault for the same behaviour on one of their newer models last year so BMW arent alone. There is no excuse though, its not like there is a shortage of space under the hood (you could maybe excuse Nisssan for doing that on the Z32 :)).
