In the LWB version, there is a blind to cover up the boot area. I have seen a picture somewhere, of a fitted cover that is static. It might hinge up or come off completely.

 

Any one know what i'm on about or am i nuts

It's a blind that rolls up into a cross piece at the fron of the boot that can be removed if required

 

You just pull it out and it connects at the two corners of the open tailgate and the roller in the cross piece keeps it taught

I'm sure it was more than a blind, it was more like a shelf with leather/leather look sides

The boot blind looks like leather mate.

some people get solid shelves custom built for speaker instals thats probably what youve seen mate.
