Quick opinions please, new car advice!

We are looking for a troop carrier and are stuck between two choices. Can any of you lovely people give me a quick opinion on the following choices, but please give reasons why if possible (especially if you've ever owned either). The examples I've given are representative of the sort of deals we're coming across.

2002 Chrysler Voyager 110k £4000

2002 Kia Sedona 50k £3000

I think what we're really saying is, is it worth stretching our budget to go for the Chrysler with higher mileage, or do we stay well within budget (leaving us some cash for sat nav, tints, mats etc.) and buy the lower mileage Kia?

Thoughts please :)

Personally, I'd plump for the voyager, My ex's parents had one and we have one at work and it's comfy, powerful and nice to be in.

The Kia is a cheaply made car to begine with so i'd imagine would feel pretty poor inside and fall apart pretty quick, don't know for sure though.

As an alternative how about a galaxy? I know they are common and boring but my sister has had one for 4 years now and it's transported her family of 6, helped me move twice and has needed practically nothing.

I have driven the old Espace. TBH, the top spec LWB model is a great car. Nice to drive, decent interior and a for a french car, pretty well built.

I am sure you could knock this chap down to £4k

This only has 50k on the clock.

Disregarding the badge image, I spoke to three people that I trust in the motor trade and they all say that the Voyager is troublesome and expensive to own, and that the Kia is fully loaded, safer, and much more reliable (and cheaper). So, we went for a Kia in the end, but not the 50k one, that was really untidy - hence the price. Ended up with a 1 owner, 52 plate, 74k for £3.5k.

I got a full service, new MOT and 12 month warranty all in too. Plus, it's from a decent dealership (a Nissan franchise dealer, ironically) who are going to put it through the workshop and do anything that needs doing so I'm confident we've bought a good family motor.

Thanks for your input guys :)
