Anyone on here do power kiting, Kite surfing or kite boarding ?

Just started getting into it and looking to get myself a couple of 2nd hand kites. I've had a couple of hours on someone elses Flexifoil bullet 3.5m quad line with handles, really enjoyed it. Managed to get a few seconds of air time as well.

Looking now to buy myself a bullet 2.5m and a blade 4.9m

Used to do a bit when it first kicked off years ago.

Sold most my kit when I moved over here, all I have left is a Bullet 1.5, and a 1m (stunt) land board, although never really use any of it now.

The nieces play with the board, and the kite comes out once in a while for a bit of a laugh.

Just remember; bigger wind = smaller kite!

Hope you enjoy, it can be frustrating at first, but when you get the hang of it, all is cool.

my mate broke his collar bone doing this, he was pulled 15 feet in the air lol was hilarious till he came back down.

no but nearly get run over by them when im out on the water in my kayak! they jump over my head when im catching a wave...

Been there, and it hurts - not my collarbone, but a full on face plant.

That is when I learned your kite can be too big for a big wind!:wack:
