Right, I have been having trouble with my Wiper/ac pod since i have had the car, some times it would work and other times it wouldnt, at first is was intermitant but i just got my car back on the road, and the pod has stoped working completely. I bought a replacement and this didnt work i then checked that power was actually reaching the pod but its not, i have checked fuses and with lots of ball scraching and throwing the teddy out the cot, i still dont know whats wrong.

Has anyone had the same problem and dose anyone have any ideas??????

Have you checked the fuses in the drivers footwell, if they are ok, it is likely to be the climate ecu. It is a little black box about 10"x6" in the drivers footwell next to the clutch pedal just behind the centre console.

i have cheked the fuses, i did this because there is no power coming to the connecting blocks, for the ac or the wiper controls. Would the Climate ecu be responseable for this problem as well?

The only thing on the pod that is getting power is the hazzard lights.

sounds like the climate ecu is dead, im changing mine to a series 2 this week so will have a spare you can try, unless you can get hold of one sooner.

Classic problem with the fuse box, the one located in the drivers footwell.

There is a series of relays on the back of the fuse box and these can fail and so can the connecting bars within the fusebox itself when the igition key is moved to position 1 and 2 different parts of the fuse box become live or not in your case. The easiest fix is to change the fuse box completely, oddly this does seem to effect UK spec zeds more frequently than Jap spec one.
