Hi all,

 

As my engine is nearly complete i have noticed my knock sensor lead has seen better days so im going to replace it.

 

But is it worth changing the knock sensor aswell? Do they break or is it the lead that causes the problems?

 

I have found a cheaper replacement knock sensor on ebay has anyone used 1on there Zed?

If the knock sensor itself looks ok i wouldnt bother as it is usually the wiring harness that causes the problems. I just replaced the wiring on mine as the sensor itself looked fine.
