Well, 5am and I am still here with the Dastek guys! The day isn't going to happen I'm afraid as there are still issues with the dyno at the moment. There is some gremlins in there somewhere and we don't have consistency in the power runs. The dyno has always been top notch in respect of consistency as most runs are within 1 or 2 bhp and 1 or 2 ftlbs of eachother. It is very unusual to see it so far out at the moment.

 

So, I am sorry to say that we will not be able to hold the day. I understand this will dissappoint a few of you, but it is out of our control, and we have tried our best to get things sorted, but machines do go wrong from time to time.

 

Once the dyno is operating as it should, I will repost or pm Murt to rebook, that is ofcourse if you guys still want to come to us.

 

If so, we will offer you guys £30 for the 2 runs with full logging (AFR & Boost) instead of the £40 odd for everyone who turns up. Apart from saying sorry again, this is all we can offer you.

Well, an old saying comes to mind here, re-arrange the words to suit...brewery, couldn't, p1ssup,organise, in a. what a waste of 9 pages of forum script. This was always looking shakey from the start when the dates kept changing. Well peeps, I geuss a meet might be on the cards for some of you, probably at a pub to drown your sorrows, Jimmer knows a nice one overlooking a cricket pitch, very calmimg that plus a pint of Thatchers Gold. I can feel the knots undoing altready...................whoooops, I won't be there, I be off to the coast for a couple of days to enjoy a bit of sun, sand and sea.......and perhaps a pint or two.:)

Murt, really sorry to read that after all your time and effort, this has gone down the pan. I know from personal experiance that you can't always please everyone concerned when organising something for the club members, especially when you have to change dates etc...... Respect to you :bow:

 

As for the other members on here who feel that their only response is to moan.... pull yourselves together and act like a club, ie; STOP WHINGING! OK so it's gone bad, IT'S NOT MURTS FAULT!! Receiving negative attitude like this is what goes towards not bothering to do anything like it again! We need more members like Murt who are prepared to go out of thier way, and in their own time, to organise stuff like this!
