It was the biggest news in the world at the time, for a long time before and after. But as they did more moon landings and space journeys public interest wained, people stopped watching it on TV, broadcasts stopped, funding got cut and it all died a death....a real shame :(

it is. everyone was space made then it just went, i guess there is only so many times you can see a guy on the moon before you get bored. i find the conspiracy theories more intresting these days:x:

i agree thats what makes me think they did but the pics they show make me think they didn't or the pics were made up. also watching the luna land and take off looks a joke and then there is the "van allen belt" most people reccon today we cant pass through it and this was the reason the russians gave up in the 60's and i saw an interview with one of the space men and they were asked about this and he said it wasn't invented then WTF:slap: even recently (don't know exactly) a shuttle got close to the belt and had to turn back because of the radiation, they said they could actually see it passing through their bodies

they said we would pass to another dimension if we crossed the speed of sound aswell, but im sure chuck yaeger just simply landed the x-1 in our dimension lol, i think it happened but whether the footage was real i dont know

 

suppose we will find out soon enough as they are planning on going back, could you not see the things left there with a telescope????

My belief is that they went into orbit but did not land, there was great pressure on them after Kennedy said they would land on the moon before the end of the 60s, they found out they could not achieve it and made up a big hoax and thats why Armstrong became a recluse after all the hype. If that is the case I doubt the truth will ever emerge, America would never let it happen and I bet only a hand of people actually know.

i dont think they landed on the moon! but how long would it take to get to mars? and they got to get back or is it a one way journey? i would like to think that if we can make it to mars and back we will show whoever is watching its TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) :hyper:

its 99% that they never went, even now they dont have the technology to go to the moon and make it back so i seriously doubt the first moon landing with the plyboard and tin foil made it LOL

Of coures they landed on the moon, if they didnt there secret would be out by now as for mars its 35 million miles away when its closest and 249 million when furthest away so if you are thinking of going bring a packed launch.

It would be an immensely elaborate mission to undertake a fake moon landing. 6 times men have walked on the moon, thousands and thousands of people involved in the project each time. Many people would have be involved in it all...and not a single person has ever said it did'nt happen.

 

What about the Rock samples collected from each Lunar mission ?....380kg of it, that is widely available to Scientists all over the world, repeatedly and independently confirmed as of non-terrestrial origin!

Tho soviets have never disputed it, and remember this was during the Cold War and it was a Race between the nations and they had the knowledge and expertise to recognise wether it did or did not happen.

as i have said im not saying they did or didn't but the above has never been explained that makes sence and the pictures i dont belive, something doesn't seem right but to say they didn't land on the moon i dont know, but that luna cracks me up:rofl::rofl:

well the fact that they STILL do not have the technology to get there says it all, and the fact that a camera wouldnt stand the temperatures on the moon oh and the fact that someone must have jumped out set up the camera on a nice tripod away from the spaceship to take some nice film etc etc also remember its was a race against the ruskies a race which the yanks could not lose however they did it LOL

as i said theres so many holes in the landings its untrue LOL dont get me wrong i would love to see man in space but when you look into it there were alot of reason why it was faked, money, vietnam, political power

i am pretty sure they can shine a powerful laser at the moon and it bounces of mirror/ satelite things we have placed on the moon so it proves we have been there.
