Hi everyone, I'm Paul, from Coventry in the sunny Midlands.

I've just secured my first ZX, she's a 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo automatic, in red. She was imported a few years back, and has since had a brand new engine (not a recon) fitted. That was less than 3,000 miles ago.

I've bought her off a friends Dad, who is terminally ill, and has spent thousands on her, anything that was needed, was done with no expense spared. I'm extremely lucky to have got hold of this car, and I plan on keeping her for a good few years.

I drive a Volvo 850 T5, with 320bhp, as my daily drive, and as I have that, I won't be taking the ZX out in the rain. From now on, she's a dry days only car.

It was just about to rain when I got to her, so we left her in the garage, hence not great photos, but I'm sure you get the idea. Oh, and does anyone know what the wheels are?

cheers

There's a slim chance I'll have her on the road by next meet then... If so, I'll be there for sure.... :D

I signed the V5 today, and I'm picking her up on Friday afternoon...

She's got 58,000 miles on her, but less than 3,000 on the brand new engine, which the guy said was rolling roaded after fitting at 450bhp. I'm a bit dubious about that figure, but I'll have her dyno'd within the first month of getting her on the road, and find out for myself. There is an in car electronic boost controller, but I don't know what it's set at yet, (what's the standard boost for one of these?) and there's a set of wheels that look like they're 3-peice split rims, again, investigations on Friday will tell me for sure....

And don't worry, there'l be plenty of pictures coming on Friday evening.....

Standard boost is 10psi IIRC.
