uk fog lights?

How do you turn the rear fogs on in a uk zed?

 

I have a jap zed, with 99 spec rears wired to have fogs. For now i have a shitty little switch to turn on the rear fogs.

 

So, how do they turn on in a uk zed? I'm basically looking for a tidy 'stock like' way of turning them on.

    There's a button on the right hand pod same as the jdm. Only difference is the uk doesn't have front fogs

    Ah well, plan B. I dont have cruise control, is it possible to put a second fog light switch on the RH pod where the cruise control switch is normally?

    I'm no expert, but I can't see why not. The cc switch is an on/off like the fogs, so should be just a case of tracing the wires from the switch and connect to the fogs.

    if you remove the blank cruise control switch front you will see that the switch is not soldered to the bourd behind it.

     

    so you need to find a uk pod with cruise, unsolder the switch (and i think another component and solder it into your cruise control switch holes, then transfer the fog switch front.

    then you need to find the wires that would go to the cruise control (if fitted) and cut them and attach your fogs. or attach fog wires if not fitted
