Hi all, I'm hopefully joining the ZX fold soon;

Had a supra TT a while ago now and after driving around with a third/half the power, I think it's time I got back into something Jap and Turbo! Decided to give the zx a try as I've loved em since I was lil' and can afford the insurance now!

anyway, hopefully I'll spend a while here, been scouring the site for info for a while now and it's been very helpful!

welcome to the club mate - even with just a few hundred pounds you can get some great performance out of the Z but its nowhere near as easily tunable as the soup. depends what youre after really.

Welcome :)

you're right, sorry I hadnt worded it too well!

I've been driving round in an mg zs with about 176bhp, my supra wasn't really highly tuned, it was bpu'd to about 400bhp (cat back, remap, plugs, decat etc) which is as far as I'd go with a ZX to be honest.

Not after mega power really, something that will hold up it's own against the m3's of this world, has good torque but is comfortable to cruise in. I've seen a few and one needs a bit of prettying up (paintwork, a few windows) but is also a total bargain price! It's an auto with a refurbbed box 1600 miles ago, and although I was hoping for a manual, it seems too good not to have a very good look at!
