Some of you may remember this:

It was a neglected Z I bought that hadn't seen the road for 6 years... well I've been beavering away at it for the past couple of months getting a new engine fitted etc. But anxious to be back behind the wheel of a powerful car I weighed it all up how much extra I'd have to spend getting this one on the road and made an executive decision.

So yesterday, I set out on a 6 hour round trip across the country to pick up my new Z. I bought it from Nicodemus off the forum and what a spot on chap he was.

So a little about the car: 1992 UK spec Twin Turbo manual... red.. totally standard with the exception of stainless cat-back quad exhausts. It now has my 17" work equip wheels swapped from my other car. Got a few bits and pieces to transfer and make one good car out of the 2 and eventually get rid of the silver one (I think  )

It was a very good price for a UK manual TT, but I need to sort the turbos out so will be keeping busy with it!

I'm not a huge fan of the colour so it may get changed at a later date, but I feel the car has great potential and shall not be looking like this for long ;) its not as high as it looks, just that the suspension hadn't settled yet after being in the air :smash:

Quite sought-after wheels and about to be refurbished - but yeah I'll let you know if the others I want materialize.... ;)

Looks like slightly less work that getting the other back on the road :D

Looks good mate, so what else apart from the turbos are you planning on doing?

I fitted a Z1 flywheel and paddle clutch to the silver one, so that will eventually come out, it also has a better exhaust system and decats that I can transfer over because the system on the red one is very 'refined' (quiet  ) I've got an apexi power intake (currently on the alfa :rofl ) and Greddy boost gauge to fit... I've also got some apex'i electrical goodies that will be fitted, boost controller, super air flow computer, RSM, etc. Some sort of suspension set up will need to be purchased ideally coilovers. Then deal with the paint side of things I think :)
