Get the subframes that match your seats then you can fabricate them as necessary to bolt into existing Zed slots in the floor!

Will be doing mine on Thursday if my new seats are delivered RAWR!!!

There are some very rare seat subframes out there for the Z and aftermarket seats, but you will have trouble getting hold of them and they are very expensive.

Most people modifiy either the stock subframes or generic subframes to fit. Will require a bit of fabrication and welding.

My seats use sidemounts. I then purchased a low-height generic subframe and I cut up the stock Z mounts and welded on the bolt brackets where it fixes to the floor to the generic subframes. I then had to widen the holes a little on the generic subframe to get it to fit the seat sidemounts.

I originally tried using a stock Z manual seat subframe, but i found it put the seat too high and I was looking for a lower seating position.

try cobra seats in shropshire they stock all types of subframes even universal ones...

They dont sell Z specific fitment, but could get their universal ones but they will need fabrication & welding. Need to make sure you get the same fitment style - either bottom mounted or side mounted, depending on seat design.

I got my universal sliding subframes from ebay. Did'nt want to spend over the top on branded parts when they are going to be cut up and welded.

I ended up drilling holes in the bottom of the car and using spacers on the inside to get the seat level, huge (5mm thick 5cm square) aluminium washer under the car to stop "pull through", Sparco steel side mounts.

Not an easy job but one of the best mods you can do.
