Well i set off at 6:30 this morning and went through to edinburgh where my pal drove me down to sunderland to get my new toy. I comfortably feel ive bought one of the best examples of a zed that has been extremely well looked after.

 

 

I would like to thank stella for being a top block and staying with his word he would sell to me as i showed proper intrest in the car and didnt waste his time after i gave him my offer on it.

So i showed off my impresive driving skills by stalling the car as i was leaving.............think the car felt sad.lol. But then it drove perfect for me coming home so i think she must feel at home with me behind the wheel.lol.

Think there is some slight over fuelling.....but hopefully going to get the car booked into zedworld for some engine TLC.

 

 

While you guys are reading this was wondering if anyone uses HID light bulbs if so what are the good ones to get and install and also if there is any Atmospheric Dump valves going?

Yeah hopefully its staying a while, will possibly need to raise it about an inch the now and looking to get the engine sorted if jeff replys to my pm.

 

Not the most mechanically minded about the 300zx engine but i know you fellas on hea will keep me well informed and help me out. but hopefully jeff can work some magic if it gets booked in.

your mates corrolla sounded nice, is it supercharged

yeah mate its supercharged with a K&N induction kit, putting out around 230BHP but it wipes the floor with type r's etc and will sit side by side with scoobs easy. He tried to have a go at me in the zed but i thought f**k it and i went flying away from him, hes wasnt to happy.lol. but its a crackin car he has......sounds amazing when the supercharger builds up.lol

I'd say jeff is you're best bet for a quick peek see what it needs etc , i know the car had done a fair amount of miles, not a major issue though in the least!!

 

(mine's no spring chicken :rofl: )

 

obviously depends on how far you wanna go engine wise?, but if it's a fair way might be worth giving jimmer a pm also ??

pmsl, glad to see you nursing the engine lol, as said some people on here dont like me and have been pming people about it being a rusty she, but as you had a good look around you noticed that the car was mint, some people just need to get a life lol

Yeah i nursed it well.lol. To be honest i was expecting it to blow up on me coming home so i wouldnt have been bothered if it did, would have rather went out in style flooring it to beet my mate than to be crawling at 60mph if you know what i mean.lol.
