Hi, my name's Al just bought my first Zed. Its a TT auto (wanted a manual but im sure itll do just fine). I live in Newcastle upon tyne and was wondering if anyone knows a garage i can trust, was going to take it to my local nissan but i think it would be better somewhere that looks at these more often any advice would be excellent.

 

I am competent to do most work myself i just want a full diagnostics all systems checked and a timing belt change:bow:

Welcome to the club mate , as regards diagnosis , allot of people on the site have the conzult or data scan sys that can be used through a laptop to look at varying issues

 

there's a list floating around on who has one in what area

Thanks everyone, yeah sounds like a good idea ill check the list or get one myself. If anyone in the north knows a good garage though let me know as i dont really want to tackle my timing belt myself if i can help it ( i also dont wanna give my car to someone who aint clued up lol. Get it to Zedworld in Tamworth - i HIGHLY recommend them along with most other people. Worth the travel for sure :)

when i had my zed i took it here to have the brake lines replaced and they seemed to now what they were doin, they ae based in sunderland not far from the stadium of light (the premeirship stadium lol)

Sorry to say I couldn't find any in Newcastle worthy or willing to work on it. Guys at A1 fooked mine completely (near Gateshead stadium) so stay clear of them.

 

As previously stated I would take it to Zedworld or another renowned Z workshop to prevent such things (mine is going to Z heaven :cry:)

Seems like a trip to zedworld is in order then, thanks for all advice. Sorry to hear bout yours Danksy ill be sure not to go there
