As some of you know I work on a railway test track here in the Midlands, well we had a BBC film crew attending site yesterday, and this is the link to the BBC News page.....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8114284.stm

I was driving the train while this footage was taken

Someone else was there, but I don't think I'm currently allowed to say that, so I'll keep my gob shut for now ;)

This is not the first film crew we've had here, in fact I (sort of) appear in a few TV railway commercials :D

We had Richard Branson here back in '01, when we launched the Pendolino (Tilting train) for Virgin.

Don't think we'll see him here again ;)

It's either richard branson or doctor who.... :hyper:

I knew Branson would be in on the invasion of the earth, The only question is....Darleks or cybermen:x:

I can say who it was now, as it's just been on London Tonight, Boris Johnson!! ;)

Booooooo

What? What's wrong with Boris? I think he's great :D

Do you have a train set in your attic

I don't even have a bloody attic! ;)

Why would I need one, I have a 13 mile full sized test track to 'play' on :D MUCH better ;)

I can see how the air con would work when above ground testing, but how well will it work when in hot tunnels?

Sorry, but that's not my department ;) I simply drive and look after the safety of our test site, we are a facilitator for other railway companies to use/test :D
