This is just to see if anyone would be interested in another RR Day meet maybe.

 

The last one was a great success and a really good day out IMO. Maybe another one is in order. A different dyno place this time tho and i was thinking maybe the other end of the year - after the shows and when the weather is cooling down.

 

So whats say you? Anyone interested? If so i'll put the idea forward to turb0z and go from there.

Ended up buying my old bosses company car a 330d for a work car in the end.

Im in. The colder the better :D

Would like to get to this, one especially seen as i missed the last one , so yep I’m interested for sure :D

if i can get mine mapped before then i will. otherwise no real point for me because everything is the same on the car. Was a good do last time though.

Like i say i think after all the shows is best, everybody should be fairly free by then and also we really need the weather to be as cool as possible!

Would be nice to have some comparison data!Although im into Weight reduction at the mo so Dyno Performance should be similar :P

Well September may not be great - i for one am going to JAE, and thats gonna cost me so not sure i can manage this aswell so soon after.

Did your power differ between the 2 rollers??

lol aye, 296 up to 328... BUT have a few theories, car was revved properly at teg sport (wasnt at neston) and id adjusted the throttlec able and taken a load of slakc out of it and given it a good kicking before it ran, apparently important on evos as they learn on the fly, so if you crawl abou it goes into an eco mode for fuel economy or somthing.

I always said that the rollers we went on were about 30-40hp down

 

Thats going off there members cars with the same mods :)

Aye well i know some people were a bit disapointed with their results... The pricing was roughly as follows:

10-15 cars £35 per person

15+ cars £30 per person

or thats what we paid anyway. Not sure if you looked at the report but we had some varied hardware there:

 

M3 Evo

Mitsi Evo 6

Mr2 Turbo (broken!)

Lotus Esprit V8 TT (very nice!)

clio trophy

etc etc

 

So they can cope with interesting stuff, the garage runs a racing team and is a well recognised poobaru upgrade centre.

Any chance you know if they'll accept less than 10 Chris lol.

 

Sounds like a good option tho. Is everybody ok with Carnforth? I'm fine with that, not too bad for me, just nip up the M6.

We had a little discussion at Japan North a couple of weeks ago and it was decided we will put serious organisation into this after JAE is over with, so thats where we're at at the moment :)
