Are they the same thing or is their two seperate tests? I found one pipe that is hissing, left hand side of engine near balance bar comming off a small black cylinder shaped object and there is a slight hiss from the right hand side of engine near the balance bar but a bit deeper down, the car is booked in next friday and any pipes that need replacing will be replaced, I hope it sorts out my almost stalling issue, I have just replaced the water temp sensor.

I just went through this and found small leaks every where.

I blanked off the afm by replacing it with a jar then pressurised the whole system with a co2 bottle not too much pressure, then used gas leak spray to locate all the leaks, (gas leak spray is non corrosive), strangest ones I found were around the top of the studs that hold the balance bar down, I dont have the original domed nuts on it and they leak through the threads.

Just spray every pipe you can see, some are not very easy to see but if you spray enough you can here the bubbles.

vacuum leak will turn into boost leak once its past the inlet of the turbo's and they build pressure

Leigh im gonna send you an email shortly ref this
