ive got £300 to spend on a laptop in currys or pc world, i have a packard bell easynote and its been good for what i need, ive been looking about and came across this

I was looking recently for a laptop, ended up getting one but I might be needing another. I am on the link below mailing list atm. A lot of their stuff aint brand new but there are some bargains to be had. Some forum members have bought from here as well so it might be worth a look.

its vouchers i have for either pc world or currys, i wouldnty mind a refurbed laprop if they are decent enough

 

could any tech heads have a look on http://www.pcworld.co.uk and see what decent laptops for around £300 youcan come up with please

got a pretty good spec for the price

for your money you want at least 2gb of ram and min 160gb hard drive, most of the processors are very similar speeds nowadays unless you spend alot of money.

Refurbed ones are normally fine, but they are usually for home delivery only, not sure if you can use your vouchers over the web though.

 

The current range of Toshiba's are pretty crap imo, pretty poor build quality, the Acers have improved loads, Packard bell were bought by Acer so should be a good bet, at this range the own brand Advent/ESytem are probably best spec for money and aren't too bad on the build quality reliability front.
