Rear oil seal...

Hiya chaps, pretty numb question really, but, can the rear crank oil seal (gear box end) be changed without droppin the sump? Is it just a case of pulling the old one out and popping a new one in?

Cheers....

yes, once the gear box, clutch and fly wheel have been removed. its just a case of unbolting the seal retainer and prying out the main seal.

job done!:D

That's ok then, got the box etc. off already, looks like it may have been leaking a little bit, but could be oil from the TC.... I'll change it anyways, cheers....
